Lanz offers 6 veneer options split into Value (Beech, Oak, Alder) and Premium woods (Maple, Cherry, Walnut). Our Value woods are available in multiple different finish options while our 3 Premium woods are only offered in a natural clear finish.
Each finish and wood option has a unique character that will liven up any space. From bright popping choices like Java and Desert finishes, to deep sophisticated Bark and Lava finishes.
WHAT IS A VENEER?
A Wood Veneer is a thin sheet of wood that has been cut off from a larger slab. This thin sheet is glued to a substrate core to complete the panel. Since the veneer is solid wood, it will maintain the beautiful color and rich grain that the larger piece of wood has. This makes it a sustainable option that is great on price without compromising quality.
Unique, authentic look
More resistant to warping and splitting than wood panels
Susceptible to peeling and bubbling if exposed to moisture for too long
Our clear finishes combine UV curing for a quick, quality finish that resists abrasion, impacts, and chemical spills to stand the test of time. Containing no reportable VHAPs, our formaldehyde-free formulas are machine spray applied to eliminate over spray thus, keeping pollutants out of the air. When choosing paint-grade cabinets (unfinished, pained on-site by others), they will be constructed from Maple hardwood.
Finish samples presented here are subject to change due to availability. Lanz Cabinets makes no guarantee that these materials will continue to be in production. If a material is discontinued, we will make every effort to find a suitable replacement. We use only quality hardwoods and hardwood veneers. We strive to provide a finish as consistent as these natural woods and wood veneers allow.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Like all-natural products, wood exhibits a great deal of variation; therefore, the appearance of the finished product may differ due to these variations in grain and other natural hardwood features. These differences may be more noticeable when in a raw state or with a UV natural finish.
Hardwoods are also photo-reactive materials, which are affected by ultraviolet rays, so perfect color matches cannot be guaranteed when additional items are purchased subsequent to the original order. These natural wood characteristics are beyond our control, and for that reason, product variation due to wood color, grain, and other natural differences is not the responsibility of Lanz Cabinets.
